Carbon Masters in Snohomish County

CM_Snohomish_LOGO.jpgThe climate in Washington state is changing as the planet is warming.  Carbon Masters WSU Snohomish County Extension recently completed it's first volunteer training, graduating twenty participates to educate, inform to reduce energy use and our carbon footprint.

Carbon Masters in Snohomish County

CM_Snohomish_LOGO.jpgThe climate in Washington state is changing as the planet is warming.  Scientists have documented that increasing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere surrounding earth are raising global temperatures.

Washington State University Extension, in partnership with Western Washington University and the University of Washington has developed the Carbon Masters program to train, equip and manage a core group of volunteers on climate change issues.

Everyone will be affected by climate change. Together we can do something to help!  Jacquelyn Styrna, Carbon Masters Outreach Coordinator WSU Extension talks about this training to start in January of 2010. Call 425-357-6023.
