Teens In Action Restore Tunnel Creek

Tunnel Creek had become overgrown with non-native plants and clogged with litter.teensinactionby.jpg Despite the loss of a grant, two teens Angela Shen (left), 14, and Dominique De La Fuente, 12, co-founded Teens In Action to help their Lynnwood community in positive ways and remained steadfast to their mission.

Sharing Wheels - Helping People Help Themselves

sharingwheels.jpgIn 1999, Ron Toppi worked in a local bike shop, not being able to serve people who could not afford the prices for maintenance of their bikes spurred Ron to salvage old bikes, parts, to provide free maintenance and then he donated these bikes to the Everett Gospel Mission.

Ron's vision for helping people to help themselves has created a sustainable reuse, re-purposing model in a 501(c)3 non-profit called Sharing Wheels.  Listen to Geoffrey Crofoot volunteer, member or the board of directors for Sharing Wheels.
