I'm extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one these days..

This is an informative report. As a person who has participated in altering the market for hauling waste oil in the Puget sound region and redifining where it goes, I'd like to make some clarifications.

What has changed in the cost for food service operations to have there grease hauled away. The "price for the oil has always been commodity driven. Up-down-up-down. While in the past this cost for hauling service has varied it has traditionally been a free service or a COST to the restaurant.

Standard changed all that. Standard was the first company to offer a per gallon value to restaurants for hauling their grease.

The established haulers had to respond to our entry into the market. There is another small company that has entered the market by copying the Standard model directly.

As well the market is affected by "Home Brewers" and "Pirates." Pirates will simply take oil. Others may make deals food service businesses and/or other haulers to collect and sell the used grease.

Standard prides itself on great service and clear communication with its suppliers. As Colin explains we also direct the oil to what we believe is the best and most environmentally sound application.

Thanks you for taking the time to take a close look at this important regional resource.
